Homing Instincts, my first essay collection, was a 2018 Oregon Book Awards finalist and is available on Amazon.  It’s about the many ways we define “home.” I grapple with that idea by reflecting on my adventures as a rock climber, budding beekeeper, traveler, wife, and mother—all while trying to make sense of my old life in New York City and my new one in Oregon.
